Originally created for the practice of yoga, the exotic designs opened the door to every day wear with a vast array of colors inspired by the landscapes of Brasil. Oxumwear is a clothing line created for girls and women that like the feeling of wearing something as much as the look of it. The sensual ergonomic style of the clothes makes them unique and comfortable. The tops are built with a double lined front that allows you to give your bra a rest and avoid lines on your back. The princess waistline in the princess astanga tights flatters and shapes your body in a special way. The durable fabric is easily washable and resilient.

About Tereza Scharf, the creator of oxumwear

Tereza grew up on a cocoa farm in the tropics of Bahia, Brasil. Her introduction to yoga happened at the age of 9, when her mother took her along to yoga classes. At 26, she moved to the States. After the birth of Zena, her first daughter, her yoga practice intensified. For the past 20 years, she has been practicing yoga every day and has been certified by Integral Yoga, and Yoga Works. After moving to Los Angeles in 1999 she began working as an assistant to her teachers, the founders of Yoga Works. Tereza acknowledges that Astanga yoga is the most transformational tool she ever received in her life. As a committed student and teacher and spending so much time in the yoga room, she noticed the drab colors and styles of the clothing. The lack of soul clashed with the power and potency of the radical asanas. Coming from Brasil and growing up in such lush nature, and missing those elements and inspiring tones, she combined her passion for yoga, her love of nature and distinct colorful style into oxumwear a yoga clothing line.
